Baby proof public space

It can be difficult to move around this city with a baby or a toddler. We will make public space baby proof. Pavements should be wide enough to navigate with a baby buggy, and terraces should not take up the entire sidewalk. Kerbs should be lowered and the police should act against drivers who sound their horns inappropriately. We will encourage the Region to ensure that all lifts/ elevators work at all metro stations and that trams are adapted for people with children. The City should encourage cafes and restaurants to be breastfeeding friendly and to have baby changing spaces, and should publicise those which do.
